Skinote

Terms of Use

Effective date: June 17, 2026 · Last updated: June 17, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Skinote (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Not medical advice

Skinote is a personal wellness journaling tool for recording and visualizing your own skin symptoms, triggers, photos, and notes. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or recommendations, and is not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any questions about a medical condition or symptoms, and before making any health decisions. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you recorded in the app. In an emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately. Any patterns or summaries the app shows reflect only the data you entered and are not a clinical assessment.

3. Your content and data

Your entries and photos are stored only on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your device, for backups you choose to make, and for any files you export and share.

4. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.

5. Subscriptions (auto-renewable)

Skinote offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (“Skinote Premium”) that unlock trigger correlation insights, the dermatologist-visit PDF report, and full history & trends.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app is error-free or that any pattern shown is accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any health-related decision made in reliance on the app.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
