Boardcut

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 3, 2026 · Last updated: July 3, 2026

Privacy-first by design. Everything you enter — projects, parts, stock, and cut layouts — stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sync, share, or sell your information. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Who we are

Boardcut (“the app”, “we”) is provided by Softgrove, an independent developer based in Japan. Contact: softgrove@duck.com.

What data the app handles

You may enter cutting projects — part lists, stock sheets and boards, dimensions, blade kerf and other cut settings, prices, and notes (“your projects”). Your projects are stored only locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database. We never receive this data.

We do not collect: name, email, account credentials (the app has no account), location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.

Export, sharing, and deletion

Purchases and payments

Boardcut Pro is a one-time purchase sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Your purchase entitlement is verified on-device through Apple’s StoreKit framework.

Network connections

The app works fully offline. The only network activity is Apple’s own App Store communication for the optional one-time purchase and purchase restoration, handled entirely by Apple’s system frameworks.

Children

Boardcut is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region) and collects no information from anyone.

Third parties

The app uses only Apple system frameworks. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising networks, or external servers.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
