PlantLog

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 17, 2026 · Last updated: June 17, 2026

Privacy-first by design. Everything you log stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sync, share, or sell your information. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Who we are

PlantLog ("the app", "we") is provided by Softgrove, an independent developer based in Japan. Contact: softgrove@duck.com.

What data the app handles

You may record your plants, watering and care events, observations, photos, and notes ("your entries"). Your entries are stored only locally on your device using Apple's on-device database, protected with iOS file protection. We never receive this data.

We do not collect: your name, email, account credentials (the app has no account), location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.

Photos

Photos you add to a plant's record stay on your device and are never uploaded to us or any third party.

Export and deletion

Subscriptions and payments

Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.

Children

PlantLog is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region) and collects no information from anyone.

Third parties

The app uses only Apple system frameworks. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising networks, or external servers.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
