ReadLog

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 17, 2026 · Last updated: June 17, 2026

Privacy-first by design. Everything you log stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sync, share, or sell your information. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Who we are

ReadLog ("the app", "we") is provided by Softgrove, an independent developer based in Japan. Contact: softgrove@duck.com.

What data the app handles

You may record books (title, author, format, status, genre, length, your rating, notes), reading sessions, and reading goals ("your reading data"). Your reading data is stored only locally on your device using Apple's on-device database, protected with iOS file protection. We never receive this data.

We do not collect: name, email, account credentials (the app has no account), location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics. ReadLog is not connected to any online store, library catalog, or social network.

Export and deletion

Subscriptions and payments

Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you enable reading reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.

Children

ReadLog is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region) and collects no information from anyone.

Third parties

The app uses only Apple system frameworks. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising networks, or external servers.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
