ReadLog

Terms of Use

Effective date: June 17, 2026 · Last updated: June 17, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using ReadLog ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What ReadLog is

ReadLog is a personal record-keeping tool for your own reading. You enter the books, sessions, and goals yourself. The app is not connected to any online store, library catalog, or social network, and any statistics it shows reflect only the data you have entered.

3. Your content and data

Your reading data is stored only on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your device, for backups you choose to make, and for any files you export and share.

4. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.

5. Subscriptions (auto-renewable)

ReadLog offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("ReadLog Premium") that unlock reading stats & trends, reading goals, the reading-log PDF, and data export.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app is error-free or that any figure it shows is accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
